easy truffle potato & steak bowls

These bowls are perfect for winter and simple to make. No complicated steps and only a few ingredients, so let's get into it! This recipe makes 2 large bowls.


1 lb tri-colored baby potatoes

black truffle oil

1 lb top sirloin (or cut of choice)



garlic powder

olive oil

1 cup brown rice


1. Bring 2 cups of salted water to a boil and add in your brown rice. Stir rice once added and cover pot, reduce to lowest heat and cook for 45 minutes.

2. Wash potatoes and toss in black truffle oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder all to taste. Truffle oil is expensive, so you can also use some olive oil to toss as well. Once your potatoes are seasoned, add them to your air fryer and set temperature to 400°. Depending on the size they can take 15-25 mins.

3. Once the potatoes have about 5 minutes left, heat some extra virgin olive oil in a pan or cast iron skillet. Add salt and pepper to both sides of your steak and add to the pan. Cook for 3-4 mins per side. Take them off the pan and let rest for a minute before slicing to place on top of the bowls.

4. Assemble your bowls - add rice and truffle potatoes to the bottom and top with steak. Enjoy!
